General Radiology Job Details

Position Type:  Locum tenens radiologist (travel healthcare job)

Specialty:  General Radiology, Nuclear Radiology

Practice Setting:  Hospital and outpatient healthcare facilities

Team:  Collaborative group of 6 radiologists

Shift:  Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour shifts)

Hours per Week:  40

Estimated Weekly Salary:  $7050 - $8350

Assignment Duration:  13-week contract with locum to perm potential

On Call:  No

Weekends:  No

Patient Demographics:  Adolescent, Child, Adult, Geriatric

Documentation System:  Epic, Power Scribe, PACS

Radiologist Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology

Active Massachusetts medical license or pending MA application (Massachusetts radiology jobs)

ACLS and BLS certifications required

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in radiology; experience or interest in Nuclear Radiology (including thyroid imaging) preferred

Self-Query NPDB report (must be pulled within the same month as submission)

Radiologist Responsibilities

Interpret a variety of radiology cases daily in hospital and outpatient settings

Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging for adolescent, child, adult, and geriatric patients

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team and fellow radiologists

Utilize Epic, Power Scribe, and PACS for efficient workflow and documentation

Demonstrate proficiency or interest in Nuclear Radiology, including thyroid case imaging

Maintain exceptional standards of patient care and safety
