Radiologist Job Details

Job Title:

Locum Tenens Radiologist

Location:

Springfield, MA 01104 (Western Massachusetts)

Practice Setting:  Hospital and outpatient healthcare facilities

Team Size:  6 radiologists (after February)

Shift:  Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Day shift, 8-hour days)

Assignment Duration:  13-week contract with potential extension

On-Call:  None

Weekends:  None

Start Date:

As soon as credentialed

Credentialing Timeframe:  90–120 days

Patient Demographics:  Adolescent, Child, Adult, Geriatric

EMR Systems:  Epic, Power Scribe, PACS

Estimated Weekly Salary:  $7050 - $8350

Radiologist Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology

Active Massachusetts medical license or pending application (Massachusetts radiology jobs)

ACLS and BLS certifications required

Minimum 1 year of clinical radiology experience

Experience or strong interest in Nuclear Radiology (including thyroid imaging)

Self-Query NPDB report required at time of application

Radiologist Responsibilities

Interpret diagnostic imaging studies for diverse patient populations

Provide nuclear radiology expertise, including thyroid cases

Collaborate with healthcare support staff and fellow radiologists

Document and communicate findings using Epic, Power Scribe, and PACS systems

Deliver patient care in hospital and outpatient settings

Uphold high standards of patient safety and clinical quality
