Baystate Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts which consists of an academic medical center, three community hospitals and the region’s largest multispecialty group. Our flagship hospital, Baystate Medical Center, is home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate.
Position Highlights- Join our Emergency Medicine team at Baystate Health which provides EM coverage at our academic medical center and 4 community hospitals.
- Baystate Medical Center (BMC) in Springfield MA. BMC is a level I Trauma Center with one of the busiest EDs in the state. Our ED provides care for over 120,000 patients annually.
- Our community hospitals are located in Springfield, Greenfield, Palmer and Westfield. APPs run fast tracks and rotate through the main EDs.
- Work collaboratively with our large team of physicians, residents and fellows, APPs, nurses and support staff to provide evidence-based and patient centered care.
- We have both full time and per diem opportunities available as our team grows.
- Qualifications:
Board certified nurse practitioner or physician assistant. 2+ years of EM APP experience required for per diem work. - The per diem hourly rates are $105/hour for weekday days and evenings, $115/hour for weekend days and evenings, all 7 nights and holidays. Our full time compensation package consists of a base salary of between $144,600- $183,175 (based 1.0 FTE, experience level and qualifications) and annual incentive bonus opportunities.
