The Superintendent of Schools announces the following position within the Fall River Public Schools.

Librarian/Teacher

• Certified as a school librarian by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Successful previous experience as a librarian
• Fully committed to the academic achievements for all students
• Comprehensive understanding of research media and strategies
• Ability to be an instructional partner with teachers from all subject areas
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Excellent technology skills
• Complete commitment to the learning of the entire school community

Principal and Associate Principal

• Create an exciting learning experience and an information and technologically rich environment
• Assist every student in getting the best information to fulfill their assignments
• Teach students the research process
• Guide and teach students to evaluate information, particularly from internet resources
• Maintain an accurate/current inventory of books, periodicals, and technological resources
• Facilitate the acquisition of new materials and participate with regional library systems such as SAILS and SEMLS to provide online catalogue databases and other materials
• Any other duties which promote effective use of the I.M.C.

Salary and benefits will be based on the Fall River Public Schools and FREA negotiated
