We're partnering with an exceptional school district in Middlesex County, Massachusetts searching for three compassionate Special Education Teachers for the remainder of the  school year.

This district is searching for skilled, dedicated educators to support middle school and high school students in special education classrooms. You will collaborate with related service providers, provide individualized and small-group support to students with diverse learning needs, and use evidence-based strategies to foster engagement, skill development, and inclusive learning for all students.

  • Location:

    In-person (no hybrid or remote options) in Middlesex County, MA
  • Schedule:

    Monday-Friday, full school day
  • Weekly Guaranteed

    Hours:

    35 hours per week
  • Grade Levels: 2 High School teaching positions and 1 Middle School teaching positions available
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and learning goals, adapt curriculum, and monitor progress for students with diverse needs.
  • Support students in accessing academics, social-emotional learning, and functional skills through collaboration with classroom teachers and differentiated instruction.
  • Use data-informed observations and evidence-based strategies to promote skill development, engagement, and readiness for learning.
  • Provide individualized and small-group support to strengthen academic, social, emotional, and behavioral skills while promoting inclusion.
  • Maintain a structured, nurturing classroom environment that encourages independence, self-regulation, communication, and positive peer interactions.
  • Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families to ensure consistent support across school settings.
Qualifications
  • Special Educator with moderate license and experience at the secondary level
