As part of our expanding school partnership programs, we are bringing our proven SAT and MCAS preparation services directly to a Springfield charter school, providing targeted small‑group instruction that helps students build confidence and achieve measurable academic growth.

Position OverviewLivius Prep is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable SAT and MCAS Instructor to lead small‑group test preparation sessions onsite at our partner charter school in Springfield, MA. The instructor will work with high school students, delivering engaging lessons in Math and Evidence‑Based Reading & Writing aligned with SAT and MCAS standards. This role is ideal for educators who are passionate about helping students succeed on college‑readiness and state assessments.
Responsibilities- Create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment for high school students
- Deliver high‑quality SAT and MCAS instruction using Livius curriculum and materials
- Support students in developing test‑taking strategies, content mastery, and academic confidence
- Manage small‑group dynamics and maintain productive classroom behavior
- Track student progress and adjust instruction based on individual and group needs
- Provide timely session notes and updates to the Livius team
- Communicate regularly with program coordinators and school staff to ensure smooth program delivery
- Experience teaching or tutoring SAT, MCAS, or related high school academic subjects
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to engage and motivate diverse student populations
- Reliable transportation to the Springfield school site
- Completion of at least 2 years of college; bachelor’s degree or teaching experience preferred
- Eligible to work in the U.S. and able to pass a national background check and CORI
- 8 hours per day (exact schedule determined with school partner)
- Paid onboarding and ongoing training
- Curriculum materials, lesson plans, and assessments provided
- Supportive team environment with opportunities for additional assignments across Livius partnership programs
