All assignments are contingent upon a sufficient number of participants and funding. Positions will remain open until they are filled.
Salary StructureSalaries are listed as Step 1 (first year), Step 2 (second year), and Step 3 (third year). They are based on the present collective bargaining agreement.
- Baseball – Head Coach – Step 1: $3,188.00;
Step 2: $3,643.00;
Step 3: $4,010.00 - Baseball – Assistant Coach (JV) – Step 1: $1,954.00;
Step 2: $2,177.00;
Step 3: $2,523.00
- Oversee sport and travel program
- Select team for travel season
- Develop daily practice schedule
- Supervise students at all times
- Check on eligibility of all athletes
- Check attendance daily
- Establish rules and expectations for athletes
- Supervise students on away games by bus
- Issue equipment and collect it at the end of the season
- Secure building permits
- Be aware of MSSADA Rules and Regulations
- Complete CPR Training and the “Concussion in Sports” course
- Knowledge of sport or activity
- Good communication skills
- Ability to successfully instruct and encourage athletes
- CPR/First Aid, Coaches Education, and Concussion certification required for all coaching candidates
