Duties
Under general supervision, independently performs various student related technical duties related to receiving and processing student information into the student information system, district intranet and student assessment verification.
- Responsible to the Building Principal and will work collaboratively with the Site Coordinator.
- Enter data into various systems in order to maintain proper and accurate records.
- Maintain discretion when working with teachers, counselors, administrators, students, and parents.
- Foster a positive learning environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High Diploma or equivalent (GED), or Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Have adequate technology skills to effectively navigate the district’s Student Information System (Power School).
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, principals/administrators and other teachers orally and in writing.
- Experience working with students who have experienced educational disengagement.
- Able to work effectively and have a good understanding of the interests and needs of the districts’ most at risk students.
- Experience in working collaboratively in schools and instructional programs.
- Ability to work in a fast‑past diverse educational setting.
- Computer literacy required.
- Exhibit organization, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Bi‑lingual preferred.
