About the Role:
The Assistant Professor of Management plays a critical role in advancing the academic mission of the institution by delivering high‑quality education in management principles and practices. This position primarily supports the Management major and other business programs, with the possibility of teaching at the graduate level, including the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. All business programs are accredited by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE).
The role involves developing and teaching undergraduate courses and, as needed, selected graduate courses that prepare students for leadership and decision‑making roles in diverse organizational settings. The Assistant Professor of Management is expected to maintain professional engagement in the field, which may include scholarly and applied activities that support effective teaching and curriculum relevance. In addition, the position includes service responsibilities such as curriculum development, student mentoring, and participation in departmental and college committees, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Ultimately, this role aims to cultivate the next generation of management professionals while contributing to a collegial academic community focused on teaching excellence and student success.
Minimum Qualifications:
* A Master's degree or equivalent in Management or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
* Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching at the college level.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills suitable for diverse academic environments.
* Eligibility to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
* A Ph.D., D.B.A., or equivalent terminal degree in Management or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
* Experience with curriculum design and innovative teaching methodologies.
* Engagement with professional management organizations or industry partnerships.
* Familiarity with online and hybrid teaching platforms.
Responsibilities:
* Design, prepare, and deliver engaging lectures and course materials primarily for undergraduate management courses, with the possibility of teaching selected graduate courses based on program needs.
