Position Title: Adjunct/ Per Course Faculty, English (Summer/Fall 2026)

Term: Summer/Fall Semester (per course faculty only)

Hours:
12 Credit Hours per 12 Month Period – Springfield Campus
Teach various courses within the Department of English, including first‑year composition and professional and technical writing at beginning and advanced levels (including graduate courses).
Responsibilities include holding office hours, critiquing students’ work, returning assignments in a timely manner, and submitting mid‑term and final grades before the due dates.
Minimum Acceptable QualificationsMaster’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a field determined acceptable by the Dean.
Additional QualificationsPrevious teaching experience preferred. Professional experience or an educational background in the field to enhance teaching of the course.
