Position
Springfield College is accepting applications for part‑time instructors in College Writing (our first‑year writing sequence) for openings beginning September.
Compensation- Adjunct faculty with fewer than 3 years of college teaching experience: $2,820 for a 3‑credit course.
- Adjunct faculty with 3 or more years of college teaching experience: $3,513 for a 3‑credit course.
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree in English/Composition or a related field.
- College teaching experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated creativity and flexibility in teaching students with varied preparation levels.
- Residency in one of the following states: MA, CT, WI, DE, TX, VT, FL.
This position will remain open for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters.
