- 1:15 p.m.

• Responsible to the school Program Coordinator and Principal
• Ensure the academic and social development of students throughout the course of the summer program
• Help students master the fundamental skills of reading, writing, and mathematics while they explire college and career options.
• Track/monitor student attendance and behavior
• Supervise students during breakfast and lunch periods
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
• Support the implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) where applicable

• Relates well to students, parents, and other teachers/staff members
• Understands the interests and needs of Springfield Conservatory of the Arts most at-risk students
• Computer/Internet aptitude
  
  Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply
• Highly qualified with required competency in the content area; and
• Appropriate content/ program area educator license and grade level (8-12) licensure from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education; and
• Bachelor's Degree with appropriate license; or
• Master's Degree with appropriate content area license preferred and/or expected within 5 years.
