Work ScheduleJuly 6 th – July 30 th from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Monday, July 5 th – Thursday, July 30 th from 7:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.
Duties- Responsible to the school Program Coordinator and Principal
- Ensure the academic and social development of students throughout the summer program
- Help students master the fundamental skills of reading, writing, and mathematics while they explore college and career options.
- Track/monitor student attendance and behavior
- Supervise students during breakfast and lunch periods
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
- Support the implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) where applicable
- Relates well to students, parents, and other teachers/staff members
- Understands the interests and needs of Springfield Conservatory of the Arts most at-risk students
- Computer/Internet aptitude
- Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply
- Highly qualified with required competency in the content area
- Appropriate content/program area educator license and grade level (8-12) licensure from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
- Bachelor’s Degree with appropriate license; or
- Master’s Degree with appropriate content area license preferred and/or expected within 5 years

Salary: $37 to $50 BU Salary Schedule
