Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, and social-emotional functioning.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop effective intervention plans and support strategies.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address students' emotional and behavioral needs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Offer consultation and guidance to teachers and parents on creating positive learning environments and managing challenging behaviors.
  • Support crisis intervention and response efforts as needed.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide programs and initiatives.
  • Stay current with research and trends in the field of school psychology.
Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid state licensure and certification as a School Psychologist in Massachusetts.
  • Experience in conducting psycho educational assessments and writing comprehensive reports.
