ANNOUNCEMENT OF POSITION

TITLE:

Vocational Professional Development Committee - Teachers

Up to 4 positions

FUNDING:

WORK SCHEDULE:

After school to be decided by program coordinator, and Vocational Director. Meetings will occur as needed; including extended days.

SALARY:
Per Teacher's Contract

DUTIES:

* To plan for Vocational Professional Development during the August P.D and the three additional P.D. days during the  school year.

* Meet with Chapter 74 Director/Supervisor of Vocational Programs.

* Maintaining frequent and open communication with teachers, and providing information in a timely and professional manner

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Presently employed as a Vocational teacher at Putnam Vocational Technical Academy.

* Must have an understanding of the State Curriculum frameworks, assessments, and the coordination of instructional programs

* Must have solid analytical and problem-solving skills

* Commitment to fostering collaboration among all stakeholders for the sake of student achievement

* Must have demonstrated organizational, problems-solving, and leadership skills

* Must have excellent communication skills
