Who We Seek We seek a dynamic individual to be part of our team at our school in Springfield, MA. The Robert

F. Kennedy Academy is a therapeutic day school that provides educational and clinical services to students with diverse abilities and disabilities, including those in the emotional, behavioral, and learning realms. The school’s curriculum and support services assist students in reaching milestones such as graduation, the transition to post-secondary educational and vocational opportunities, or the return to public school. A small school by design, RFK Academy creates individualized learning opportunities and accommodation while establishing a community of learners among students for whom connections to school have often been challenging.

• Adapts classroom activities, assignments, and/or materials under the supervision of the supervising teacher to support and reinforce classroom objectives and meet IEP goals.
• Communicates with supervising instructional staff, various health care professionals, and professional support personnel to communicate progress or implement IEP objectives.
• Supervises students on off-campus trips for internships, volunteer opportunities, and field trips.
• Supports students in following the daily schedules and provides guidance for that student for the entire school day.

• High School Diploma is required. B.A. preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Shift
Monday - Friday, 8:15am – 2:30pm
