Adjunct Instructor, Psychology

Teaches a standard range of courses expected in the first two years of a degree program in the field.

Examples of duties (including but not limited to):

• Conducts classes
• Prepares for instruction
• Assesses student performance
• Provides student assistance by appointment
• Engages in professional development and required trainings
• Attends a limited number of faculty meetings

Requirements:

• Master's degree within the field or 18 credits of graduate level work specific to the field
• College teaching experience, high school teaching experience, or adult education experience

Preferred qualifications:

• Successful community college teaching experience
• Commitment to fostering inclusiveness, equity and diversity within the academic setting
• Teaching experience with Early College students or at the High School level
• Commitment to the mission of the community college
• Experience building and facilitating asynchronous or hybrid courses using a standard learning management system
