Adjunct Instructor, Psychology
Teaches a standard range of courses expected in the first two years of a degree program in the field.
Examples of duties (including but not limited to):
- Conducts classes
- Prepares for instruction
- Assesses student performance
- Provides student assistance by appointment
- Engages in professional development and required trainings
- Attends a limited number of faculty meetings
Requirements:
- Master's degree within the field or 18 credits of graduate level work specific to the field
- College teaching experience, high school teaching experience, or adult education experience
Preferred qualifications:
- Successful community college teaching experience
- Commitment to fostering inclusiveness, equity and diversity within the academic setting
- Teaching experience with Early College students or at the High School level
- Commitment to the mission of the community college
- Experience building and facilitating asynchronous or hybrid courses using a standard learning management system
