ML Summer School Elementary Student Intern

Springfield Public Schools is looking for an ML Summer School Elementary Student Intern for the summer of 2026. The position is funded by Title III and is located at Lincoln Elementary School.

Work Schedule:

7:30 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, July 6, 2026 - July 30, 2026.

Duties:

  • Assist teachers and students in all classroom activities.
  • Assist with the thematic implementation approach.
  • Assist in distributing student materials in the classroom.
  • Breakfast and lunch duty in the cafeteria with assigned class.
  • Morning and afternoon bus duty as assigned by coordinators.

Qualifications:

  • Presently enrolled in a 2-4 year college/university or program of advanced studies.
  • Ability to communicate with students and teachers.
  • Committed to attendance during the summer program dates.
  • Experience working with students in Grades 1-4 (preferred).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
