Program
Schedule:
8:00 AM to 1:45 PM, Monday‑Thursday, July 6, 2026 – July 30, 2026.
Alternate
Work Schedule:
7:30 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday‑Thursday, July 6, 2026 – July 30, 2026.
- Report to the ML Director and the ML Summer Program Coordinator.
- Assist teachers in all classroom activities.
- Assist with the thematic planning approach.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of the ESL program in the areas of WIDA standards for English language development.
- Assist in selecting, developing, and distributing teacher materials for the program.
- Supervise breakfast and lunch duty in the cafeteria with assigned class.
- Supervise afternoon bus duty.
- Currently employed with Springfield Public Schools.
- Ability to communicate with parents.
- Committed to delivering high‑quality instruction and adhering to rigorous curriculum standards.
- Experience in utilizing research‑based intervention strategies.
- Understand the goals and requirements of the State Curriculum Frameworks and Assessments.
