Learning Coach, Alpha

Location:

On‑site in Springfield, MA (relocation assistance available).

Annual salary: $100,000 paid weekly. Full health, dental, and vision coverage starting day one.

• Facilitate one‑hour life skills workshops covering public speaking, concentration, teamwork, and feedback exchange—adjusting delivery and tone for Pre‑K through 8th grade audiences.
• Conduct daily individual and small‑group coaching sessions to review student performance in adaptive learning platforms (via Coachbot analytics), establish objectives, and challenge students to achieve 100% of weekly targets.

  Pass evaluations to verify genuine life skill mastery rather than participation.
• Intervene with focused support when students experience academic or engagement setbacks—diagnosing issues and creating action plans for recovery.
• Cultivate authentic relationships with every student so they trust your guidance through moments of resistance, distraction, and uncertainty.

• Teaching traditional academic content or delivering classroom lectures (core subject learning happens through adaptive software).
• Creating original lesson plans or curriculum materials (Alpha supplies life‑skills playbooks; you execute them).
• Handling parent communication or administrative operations (Campus Leads manage these functions).
• Assigning or evaluating homework or preparing students for standardized exams (these elements don’t exist in this model).
• Operating independently without collaboration (you are integrated into a campus team with Lead Guides, Campus Leads, and colleagues).

Guarantee that every student assigned to you loves attending school, achieves mastery of critical life skills, and completes 100% of their academic objectives through the adaptive learning platform.

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• 3+ years of direct experience with Pre‑K–8 students (teaching, coaching, counseling, or youth program leadership).
• Demonstrated experience motivating or coaching Pre‑K–8 students toward goals, with at least one concrete example you can articulate.
• Comfort with a coaching‑exclusive model where core academic instruction is delivered by the learning platform.
• Daily use of generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude).
• Ability to work on‑site at Alpha’s Springfield, MA campus (relocation assistance provided).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

• Background in youth sports coaching, camp leadership, or after‑school programs with direct accountability for motivating children toward defined goals.
• History of significant personal achievement (academic distinctions, competitive sports, leadership positions).
• Innate storytelling skill: command attention from Pre‑K–8 audiences for an hour without volume escalation.
• Success engaging disengaged or reluctant students and transforming them into active contributors.
• Experience supporting students who receive special education services.

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
