What You’ll Do Instructional Leadership
  • Champion rigorous, engaging, and inclusive teaching practices
  • Use data to drive decisions and accelerate student growth
  • Provide meaningful feedback to elevate teaching and learning
  • Be directly responsible to the Supervisor of Clinical and Behavioral Services
  • Administer comprehensive assessments that address the areas of suspected disability and write comprehensive and professional reports on assessments that provide educationally relevant recommendations
  • Participate in 603 CMR Team meetings as an evaluator to help determine eligibility for special education

Who You Are

You are a passionate, equity-driven leader who believes deeply in the potential of every child and educator.

Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Certified as a School Psychologist by the Massachusetts Department of Education
  • Licensing as an Educational Psychologist by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Allied Mental Health is preferred (all levels)
  • Prefer three years, on a full‑time basis, as a psychologist working with children of school age. One of these years should have been in a school setting. A year of suitable internship experience may be counted toward the three-year requirement
  • Prefer two years of successful teaching experience
  • Proven ability to work effectively with/for children and adults in a multi‑cultural community
  • Empathetic to the needs of young people and adults in the area of special needs
  • Bilingual/Bicultural (Hispanic) is preferred but not required
