Do you believe that a student who reaches 99% of their target still has room to grow? The most meaningful way to support a young person who comes close to their goal is to refuse to settle for almost. If that expectation feels too demanding, this position may not suit you. If it energizes you - because you understand that maintaining high standards shows a student you believe in their full potential—then continue reading.

Alpha operates outside the traditional classroom model. Students complete a full day's worth of academics in approximately two hours using adaptive technology. There are no lectures or textbooks.

Your role centers on what software cannot deliver: guiding students from Pre-K through 8th grade in essential life skills such as public speaking, sustained attention, and constructive feedback exchange. You will spend half your time facilitating structured, hands‑on workshops with prepared materials and narrative techniques. The remaining time involves one‑on‑one or small‑group coaching, analyzing student progress through Coachbot analytics, and ensuring they meet 100% of their weekly benchmarks.

Mastery is validated through Test2

Pass assessments, not by participation alone.

This is a highly selective opportunity. During your first year, you will become fluent in the program framework: facilitation of workshops, motivation coaching, mastery verification, and consistent accountability for every student's goals. Demonstrate excellence in these areas and you will be positioned for advancement to Lead Guide. You must combine warmth, authority, and an unwavering standard.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Facilitating structured, one‑hour life skill sessions focused on public speaking, attention management, teamwork, and feedback exchange—adjusting your delivery across Pre‑K through 8th grade audiences
  • Conducting daily individual and small‑group coaching where you assess each student's adaptive learning progress via Coachbot analytics, establish goals, and hold them accountable to meeting 100% of weekly expectations
  • Overseeing and scoring Test2

Pass evaluations to verify genuine mastery of life skills, beyond mere attendance
  • Providing focused interventions when a student lags academically or disengages—identifying underlying issues and creating a structured recovery approach
  • Cultivating authentic connections with each student, building the trust necessary for them to receive coaching through challenges, distractions, and uncertainty
What You Won’t Be Doing
  • Teaching traditional academic content through lectures (core subjects are delivered via adaptive platforms, not by you)
  • Creating original curriculum or lesson outlines (Alpha supplies structured life skills frameworks; you execute them with energy and narrative skill)
  • Handling parent communications or administrative tasks (Campus Leads oversee those areas; your focus remains on students)
  • Assigning or grading homework, or preparing students for standardized exams (these elements are absent from the model)
  • Operating independently without support (you collaborate with Lead Guides, Campus Leads, and fellow team members who exchange feedback and maintain mutual accountability)
Youth Development Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Ensure that every student in your group enjoys coming to school, develops critical life skills, and achieves 100% of their academic targets using adaptive learning technology.

Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in any discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years working directly with students in Pre‑K through 8th grade (in teaching, coaching, counseling, or youth program roles).
  • Demonstrated experience coaching or motivating Pre‑K–8 students toward measurable academic, behavioral, athletic, or extracurricular outcomes, with a concrete example you can articulate (including the objective, your approach,…
