Engineer -Water​/Wastewater; Hyannis, MA

Weston Sampson is hiring an Engineer with our Wastewater Discipline with 0 to 4 years of experience out of our Hyannis, MA office. The candidate will have experience in evaluation, design, and construction of public infrastructure in the northeastern United States.

What you’ll do:

• Assist project managers with the preparation of engineering studies, design plans and specifications.
• Visit job sites to perform project tasks including field tests, data gathering, field inspections, surveying and construction observation.
• Office work may include engineering design, data review and tabulation, data management and analysis, and preparation of technical reports.
• Expected to work on a variety of civil engineering projects at any given time as workload requires, but an emphasis will be placed primarily on wastewater related projects.
• Willing to travel as required.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering with wastewater collection and treatment emphasis.
• Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting and design skills.
• Proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• EIT Certification is a plus.
• Construction experience is a plus.
• Engineering Consulting industry experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• A positive attitude and willingness to continue learning as new tasks are assigned and new projects are undertaken.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Salary Range: $72,000 - $78,000 based on education.
