About the Position:

GPTech is seeking an Energy Manager to support facility energy management activities, including utility data management and reporting, energy meter data analysis, energy program management, technical advice and support for energy management and building automation projects, and training. The position will support the U.S. Air Force at Westover ARB, near Springfield, MA. Additional travel throughout the U.S. may occasionally be required.

U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass a background investigation are required.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality control, auditing and analysis/reporting related to utility bills
  • Manage and analyze energy meter data to benchmark building performance and to support the development of operational efficiency improvements
  • Provide technical and program management support to assist with the preparation of Air Force, DOD, and other Federal energy reporting requirements
  • Provide technical support related to building automation systems and energy management control systems
  • Provide technical support and training to federal staff
  • Engaging in client meetings relevant to assigned work scope.
  • Developing targeted communications and detailed reports (white papers, fact sheets, research summaries, briefings, technical analyses, data analysis presentations) on recommended investments and decisions
