The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Tax Associate with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will do more than just prepare returns, you will act as a strategic advisor to our clients, helping them navigate complex tax codes and develop long‑term financial strategies.

You will operate at a high level, owning the end‑to‑end tax process for a portfolio of clients and identifying opportunities to drive value, minimize liability, and optimize their financial health.

What You’ll Do
  • Analyze complex tax situations to provide proactive tax planning, consulting, and advisory services to high‑net‑worth individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
  • Prepare complex federal, state, and local income tax returns, including multi‑state taxation.
  • Build and maintain strong, direct relationships with clients, acting as a primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
  • Perform research on emerging tax trends, regulations, and complex issues (e.g., Nexus, foreign forms, partnership K‑1 income).
  • Mentor, train, and review the work of junior staff and associates.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology and streamline tax processes.
What We Are Looking For
  • 5+ years of relevant tax experience in public accounting, focusing on complex compliance and planning.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
    Masters in Taxation (MST) is a plus.
  • CPA (or CPA candidate) or Enrolled Agent (EA).
  • Deep knowledge of the US tax foundation, including Subchapter C, S, and K. Proficiency with tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, GoSystems, One Source).
  • Strong, clear communication skills, high tenacity, and a proactive “strategic advisor” mindset.
