Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis | Healthcare Organization

We’re looking for a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis to join a healthcare organization. This contract role offers a strong possibility of extensions and conversion. If you have deep experience in budgeting, forecasting, and healthcare financial analysis, this is a great opportunity to step into a high-impact, leadership-focused role.

• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long‑range financial planning
• Prepare monthly financial packages and perform budget vs. actuals analysis
• Support health plan forecasting, including medical cost trends and premium revenue projections
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, and Actuarial teams to deliver financial insights and reporting
• Manage general and administrative expense allocations
• Coordinate regulatory and internal reporting, including DSRIP budgeting and submissions
• Analyze financial risks, opportunities, and variances to plan and prior year
• Support month‑end close and perform ad hoc financial analysis
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Lead and develop 1–3 direct reports (initially overseeing the DSRIP Accountant)

• 8–10 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or financial reporting
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience managing full planning cycles (budget, forecast, close)
• Healthcare or health plan finance experience strongly preferred
• SQL experience is a plus
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and support executive decision‑making

💵 Pay: 60 – $65/hour. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors)
