Senior Financial Analyst (Research) | Springfield, MA
We’re looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support Research Operations at Client Medical Center. If you have 5–7 years of progressive financial management experience—especially in sponsored programs and Lawson financial systems—this is an excellent opportunity to drive financial accuracy, compliance, and process optimization within a leading healthcare research environment.
What You’ll Do:- Oversee sponsored program financial reporting and compliance activities
- Manage complex grant and sponsored program financials with accuracy and timeliness
- Serve as a subject matter expert in Lawson and financial reporting systems
- Monitor federal/state grant regulations, Uniform Guidance, and audit requirements
- Optimize financial workflows and support strategic process improvements
- Collaborate with internal departments to maintain compliance and operational efficiency
- Analyze financial trends, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions
- Support departmental reporting, budgeting, and internal financial operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 5–7 years of progressive financial management experience (sponsored programs preferred)
- Strong proficiency with Lawson financial systems + Grants Management modules
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across departments
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Leadership mindset with the ability to mentor staff and promote continuous improvement
