Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Bank Teller role based in the Greater Boston area. The Bank Teller will handle day-to-day customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and account inquiries, while ensuring accurate and compliant teller operations. The role involves balancing cash drawers, processing cash and check transactions, verifying identification, and following established security and compliance procedures. The Bank Teller will provide professional, friendly customer service, respond to questions about banking products and services, and refer customers to appropriate team members for more complex needs.

This position requires consistent adherence to bank policies, attention to detail, and collaboration with branch colleagues to support branch goals and deliver a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in teller operations and deposits, with the ability to learn bank systems and follow defined procedures.
  • Candidates should possess strong cash handling skills, including accuracy in counting, balancing, and reconciling transactions.
  • Candidates should possess effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to engage with diverse customers in a professional manner.
  • Relevant qualifications include prior experience in retail banking or cash-handling roles, familiarity with basic financial products, and comfort working in a regulated environment.
  • Additional beneficial qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math and computer skills, reliability in adhering to schedules, and the ability to work collaboratively in a branch team.
