We are a full-service financial planning and investment advisory firm located in downtown Springfield, MA. We help clients build wealth, prepare for retirement, manage investments, plan for education, and navigate estate planning with clarity and confidence. Our firm is growing, and we are seeking an Associate Financial Planner who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute meaningfully to client relationships and planning work.
This role is ideal for someone early in their financial planning career. Someone who has completed (or is close to completing) CFP® coursework, is working toward their Series 7, and is ready to gain hands‑on experience under the mentorship of a seasoned advisor.
Position SummaryThe Associate Financial Planner will support the firm’s principal advisor in all aspects of financial planning, client service, and operational workflow. This role includes sitting in on client meetings, preparing planning analyses, managing follow‑up tasks, coordinating with attorneys and CPAs, and helping ensure a smooth, high-quality client experience.
This is an on‑site, professional role with structured mentorship, clear growth pathways, and the opportunity to build toward becoming a full Financial Advisor.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Support & Meeting Participation
- Attend client meetings with the principal advisor
- Capture notes, prepare follow‑up tasks, and manage post‑meeting communication
- Support clients through major financial transitions (retirement, education planning, career changes)
- Maintain a warm, professional presence that reflects firm values
- Gather and organize client financial data
- Prepare financial planning analyses (retirement projections, cash flow, risk assessments, asset allocation reviews)
- Assist in developing comprehensive financial plans using Right Capital, eMoney, or Money Guide Pro
- Update plans based on life changes, market conditions, or regulatory updates
- Assist with portfolio reviews, performance reporting, and allocation updates
- Support research and due diligence efforts
- Ensure client portfolios align with firm philosophy and risk tolerance
- Communicate with attorneys regarding estate planning documents
- Follow up with CPAs on tax returns, tax planning items, and required documentation
- Support clients in navigating multi‑professional financial decisions
- Maintain accurate, compliant client records
- Assist with onboarding, documentation, and workflow management
- Support process improvement and operational efficiency
