We are hiring an RN QAPI Coordinator to join our dynamic care team at Hospice of Western & Central Massachusetts!
32 hours a week with weekly pay ranging from $45 to $48 an hour. 8a-4:30p shift. This is not a remote position. Works out of our office in Feeding Hills.

As the QAPI Coordinator, you are responsible for supporting and coordinating the agency's quality assessment and performance improvement program alongside the director and executive director.
Experience &Education:
- Must possess an active and unencumbered RN license in Massachusetts.
- At least two (2) years of hospice experience.
- QAPI, quality, or compliance experience in hospice or home health preferred.
- Experience with hospice EMR systems preferred.
- Prior experience in staff training and clinical education preferred.
- Conduct daily chart audits to ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant.
- Review all admissions and discharges for regulatory and documentation compliance.
- Monitor documentation trends and identify areas of improvement.
- Review patient charts, EMR screens, and clinical documentation.
- Provide education to staff on documentation standards, compliance, and regulatory expectations.
- Ensure documentation is consistent, defensible, and survey-ready.
- Gather, track, and analyze quality indicators and performance improvement data.
- Train new staff on the EMR system and assist with ongoing education.
- Provide admission recommendations based on documentation and regulatory criteria.
- Assist in improving documentation workflows and consistency.
- Ensure annual education requirements are completed and tracked.
- Knowledge of CMS hospice Conditions of Participation, hospice documentation standards, and survey processes.
- Strong understanding of interdisciplinary hospice care planning and documentation requirements.
- Experience conducting chart audits and documentation reviews.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Must be willing to travel.
- Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
- Understanding of CMS Hospice Conditions of Participation.
- Understanding of Massachusetts Dept. of Public Health regulations.
