• Under the supervision of an RN, assist with direct patient care including hygiene, mobility, and vital sign monitoring.
• Perform a range of clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, specimen collection, and Point of Care testing.
• Assist with procedures, patient transport, equipment management, and support emergency response protocols.
• Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and a commitment to patient safety.

• Level I: PCT training or CNA training, preferred
• BLS CPR Certification through American Heart Association, required
• Level II:
  High School diploma or GED; at least one year of patient care experience (varies by setting); BLS CPR Certification through American Heart Association, required
• Level III:
  High School diploma or GED; three or more years of patient care experience (varies by setting) or at least one year as a level II PCT at Baystate Health; BLS CPR Certification through American Heart Association, required
• Level IV:
  High School Diploma or GED; 4+ years of acute or specialty-specific care setting experience or at least one year as a level III PCT at Baystate Health; BLS CPR Certification through American Heart Association, required
