Description
Mercy Medical Center a member of Trinity Health Of New England has an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our mission-driven Rehab Team.
The Per Diem position will provide weekend coverage for inpatient rehab and Inpatient Acute care. The Occupational Therapist performs evaluations, direct patient treatment and provides documentation for patients of all ages (adolescent, adult, geriatric) referred for occupational therapy.

Responsibilities- Provides full scope of direct and clinical services necessary to maximize the care for patients of all ages
- Appropriately communicates results of assessment or treatment program including written and/or verbal means, and aggressively works with patient, family, and care provider to communicate patient status and progress, as well as providing adequate training
- Develops and maintains advanced clinical skills, including acknowledged area of expertise and multi-site/unit clinical service diversification
- Maintains appropriate communication with treatment team, physicians, clients, and/or family members to facilitate problem solving, program planning and education
- Graduate of an AOTA accredited school
- Current State of MA license
- Excellent communication skills

- Must be available Weekends
$36.40 - $58.25. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
