Speech Language Pathologist

Trinity Health of New England is looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our mission-driven team in the outpatient rehabilitation department at Mercy Medical Center. The Speech Language Pathologist is a member of a comprehensive care team who identifies appropriate long- and short-term goals and develops treatment plans to respond to those goals for patients with mild‑moderate cognitive deficits among other neurological disorders.

Part time (20 hours per week)

Day Shift

• Perform comprehensive evaluations.
• Establish functional goals based upon evaluation results targeting deficient areas, to help patients achieve maximum functional independence.
• Provide professional interaction with patients, family members, interdisciplinary team members, and other staff.
• Complete all documentation in accordance with professional, organizational, and regulatory compliance standards.

• Graduate of an accredited Speech‑Language Pathology program with a master’s degree.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• State of Massachusetts Speech‑Language Pathology licensure.

• Part‑time schedule (20 hours per week).

Mercy Medical Center is a 182‑bed acute care hospital located in Springfield, Massachusetts. The center also houses Mercy's Rehabilitation Hospital, a comprehensive hospital‑based rehabilitation facility, and Brightside for Families and Children, an outpatient counseling and family support program.
