Job Summary: The Gándara Center is looking for a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Psy.D or Ph.
D) to work in our Outpatient Clinic providing psychological testing, assessment services, supervision, and counseling services. The Licensed Psychologist will play an integral role in the overall mission of the Outpatient Clinic and our approach to mental health treatment to clients, families, and the community.
- Use knowledge of psychological theory and practice to provide diagnosis (dx) and help in case discussions.
- Help supervises address mental health concerns or adjust behaviors of their clients.
- Supervise at least 2 mental health clinicians.
- Help individuals address underlying behavioral issues.
- Develop and recommend treatment plans based on patient needs and diagnosis.
- Provide referrals when necessary for additional care, evaluation, or treatment.
- Conduct psychological testing, formulations and produce reports.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and other professionals to provide the best care possible.
- Promote knowledge acquisition and skills development through various professional development opportunities.
- Assist personnel in transferring the skill and knowledge obtained in the classroom to their work in the field.
- Input data into the data management system.
- Use data collection tools and forms.
- Read and interpret reports.
- Use data to improve performance.
- Current MA state licensure as a Clinical Psychologist.
- Availability to provide clinical services (psychological testing, and assessment services) for 36-40 hours a week.
- Ability to utilize an EHR system to complete clinical documentation and communicate within the practice.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and customer service skills, and excellent organizational skills.
