What You’ll Do:
As an MCI Clinician
, you will deliver community-based crisis intervention services to youth and adults experiencing urgent behavioral health needs. You will assess, stabilize, and support individuals in real-time—meeting them where they are: in homes, shelters, hospitals, or other community settings but will most likely be onsite in Springfield. This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting difference while collaborating with a skilled multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person behavioral health assessments in homes, community locations, or clinics
- Deliver crisis intervention, safety planning, and post-stabilization services
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, peer specialists, recovery coaches, and team clinicians
- Coordinate with natural supports, providers, and systems of care to ensure follow-up
- Document clinical assessments and treatment recommendations accurately and promptly
- Provide consultation and clinical insight to other crisis team members
- Help divert unnecessary hospitalizations and connect individuals to community-based supports
- Ensure that individuals fully understand treatment plans and available options

Who You Are:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field (required)
- 2+ years of experience working in crisis services or acute behavioral health (preferred)
- Licensed - LICSW, LCSW or licensed eligible - LMHC (preferred)
- Ability to conduct rapid clinical assessments and respond calmly in high-stress situations
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required (community-based role)
- Flexible, adaptable, and committed to BHN’s mission and values
Shift: Sunday - Thursday 10am-6pm or 11am-7pm, hours will vary and be determined in interview
Pay: $37.17-$38.85
