Patient Care Technician Nights

Patient Care Technician; PCT; CNA

Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced Patient Care Technician; PCT; CNA to join our team at Mercy Medical Center. This person is responsible for assisting physicians while providing exceptional treatment to patients with a variety of medical conditions.

What you will do:

• Helps assigned patients with all activities of daily living including personal hygiene, fluid intake, elimination, bathing, and dressing.
• Delivers ice and beverages to patients as directed.
• Performs selected tasks such as patient transport, collection of specimens, and distribution of linens and supplies to patient rooms.
• Provides care according to hospital procedures in a manner that protects the safety and dignity of patients.
• May perform secretarial tasks to aid in the flow of the unit.
• Other duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma/GED.
• Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks.
• CPR/Basic Life Support certification required (AMA or Red Cross).

Schedule:

• Full Time, 36 hours. Night Shift, 7:00 p.m.
  
  - 7:30 a.m. Holidays and weekends required.
• Must work every weekend and holiday as scheduled.
