This role offers a strong balance of independence and patient interaction, serving a broad territory throughout western and central Massachusetts. With a manageable on‑call schedule that typically experiences low activity levels, this position is ideal for a Respiratory Therapist who enjoys building patient relationships, providing education, and delivering high‑quality respiratory care while maintaining a consistent daytime schedule.

  8:30AM–5:00PM
• Coverage area extends up to approximately 1hour in most directions
• Mix of patient education, equipment management, and respiratory care services
• Salary range: $32–$35 per hour. Compensation offered may vary based on job‑related factors such as experience, skills, education, and location
• On‑call transparency:
  On‑call rotation includes approximately 7–8 days per month, including weekends

• Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow‑ups
• Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and elevate concerns appropriately
• Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams
• Maintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptop
• Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment, including, but not limited to, oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, invasive and non‑invasive ventilation
• Inspect and test equipment to ensure proper operating condition
• Perform clinical assessments and tests such as pulse oximetry, ETCO₂, spirometry and gathering vital signs
• Perform other duties as required

• Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with an active MA RT license
• Ability to stand, lift, push and/or pull objects ranging from 10–50lbs.
• Valid driver’s license
• Comfortable using mobile technology, navigation tools, and digital documentation
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Certificates, licenses, registrations or professional designations
• Hold a current RCP license in the state of practice (or states that the location covers) if that state requires an RCP license to allow the practice of respiratory therapy
• Hold a current CPR Certification
• Hold all applicable licensure in good standing for all states of practice
