You'll deliver essential cardiopulmonary care under physician direction, using your clinical expertise, critical thinking, and compassion to support patients in both routine and life-saving situations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing respiratory therapies such as oxygen delivery, aerosol treatments, humidity therapy, and invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation
- Monitoring patient responses and collaborating with the care team to adjust treatment plans
- Performing diagnostic procedures including arterial blood gases and EKGs
- Responding to emergency situations, including Code Blue and Rapid Response calls
- Ensuring safe operation and maintenance of respiratory equipment in compliance with infection control and safety standards
- Supporting patient and family education, including discharge planning and home respiratory care
Education
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Care required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience
- Open to all experience levels
- One or more years of clinical experience preferred
Licensure and Certifications
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) required
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred
- Current CPR certification required
