**** RESPONSIBILITIES:
** Baystate Health’s Patient Service Representatives perform a variety of different tasks throughout the day. This includes greeting patients, check in and check out and requesting copays. Responsibilities also include verifying insurances, answering telephones and faxing medical documents.
*
* SCHEDULE:

*** Full-time, 40 hours a week
* Monday through Friday, various schedules from 7:30a-5:30p
* A few locations have evening shift and/or Sat morning rotation
** Various opportunities in both primary care and specialty practices are available:
*** Women's Health - Palmer
* Cardiology - Springfield
* Family Advocacy Center - Springfield
* Primary Care & Pedi - Springfield
* Primary Care - Palmer
* Pediatrics - Springfield

* QUALIFICATIONS:

*** High School Diploma or GED, required
* At least 6 months in a medical office setting, preferred
* Great interpersonal skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment a MUST
* Medical terminology, keyboard, Microsoft office products, schedule systems, medical records (electronic and paper), billing, basic math, language, reading and writing, customer service
