An opening is available for a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) in a specialty home infusion pharmacy located in Springfield, MA. This per diem position offers daytime hours Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, for an 8-week duration. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with PIC experience looking to provide leadership in a new pharmacy setting with low patient volume.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, overseeing all pharmacy operations and compliance requirements.
• Establish and maintain pharmacy license by hanging it promptly on-premises.
• Manage the specialty home infusion pharmacy workflow and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the client until a permanent PIC is secured.
• Maintain exceptional patient care standards within the specialty infusion environment.

Qualifications and Desired

Experience:

• Valid Massachusetts pharmacy license.
• Proven experience as a Pharmacist in Charge.
• Background in home infusion, specialty infusion, or specialty pharmacy strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy laws and regulations in Massachusetts.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

This role provides a unique chance to lead a developing pharmacy operation while supporting specialized infusion services on a per diem basis. Candidates must be ready to contribute expertise in pharmacy management and compliance immediately.
