What You’ll Do:
As an Early Intervention Clinician, you will support children from birth to three years old who have developmental needs, working collaboratively with families to create play-based, personalized activities that promote learning and growth. You will play a crucial role in helping families manage difficult situations, develop strategies to address behavioral challenges, and access community resources.
Responsibilities Include:
- Partner with families to develop and implement individualized, fun activities that support children’s developmental goals
- Use clinical skills to guide families through challenging circumstances and behavioral management strategies for toddlers
- Collaborate with families to create treatment plans and ensure strategies align with their values and priorities
- Assist families in navigating community resources and advocate for their children’s needs
- Work as part of a dedicated team in family homes and community settings to support children in reaching developmental milestones
Who You Are:
- Master s degree from a recognized accredited institution in counseling psychology, clinical psychology, mental health counseling, marriage & family therapy, educational psychology, developmental psychology is required.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) by the Massachusetts Board of Allied Mental Health and Human Services Professionals,Current licensure as a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is preferred.
- Familiarity with internet, word processing, and email systems
- Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and reliable transportation
