Job DescriptionInsight Global is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Clinic Coordinator to support oncology patients, providers, and clinical operations. Reporting to the Practice Manager and working closely with the Lead Clinic Coordinator, this mission-critical role is responsible for coordinating complex patient scheduling, triaging requests, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience in a fast-paced clinical environment.
The ideal candidate thrives in a busy healthcare setting, enjoys helping patients and families, and can effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Must Haves- High school diploma required;
Bachelor's degree preferred - Experience in a customer service, healthcare, or patient-facing environment
- Strong proficiency with computers and technology platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle Protected Health Information (PHI)
- Previous healthcare or clinic coordination experience
- Experience working within electronic medical record systems (Epic preferred)
- Experience scheduling complex appointments or coordinating patient care
- Familiarity with healthcare workflows and medical terminology
- Experience handling high-volume phone calls and patient inquiries
- Schedule complex oncology appointments across multiple specialties and departments
- Ensure scheduling accuracy and compliance with established guidelines
- Monitor scheduling reports and optimize resource utilization
- Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Assist with onboarding and training of new team members as needed
- Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, families, providers, and staff
- Respond promptly and accurately to patient and provider needs
- Resolve concerns and de-escalate patient issues while maintaining service standards
- Escalate concerns to leadership when appropriate
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, clinical staff, and leadership
- Translate complex scheduling and clinical information into patient-friendly language
- Manage check-in and check-out processes
- Triage phone calls and patient inquiries
- Coordinate complex schedules and appointment workflows
- Process patient documentation and verbal orders as appropriate
- Foster teamwork and shared accountability across departments
- Utilize clinical and operational systems including:
- Epic
- Real Time Locating System (RTLS)
- Microsoft Outlook
- Support operational changes and system upgrades
- Manage patient-use iPads, including distribution, maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting
$20/hr to $26/hr.
