**** RESPONSIBILITIES:
** Baystate Health, Medical Assistants perform an important role providing care to our patients. They take vital signs, perform patient intake and history, clinical orders, procedures, documentation and patient discharge. Our supportive work environment allows you to provide optimal patient care.

* SCHEDULE:

*** Full-time schedules vary from 7:30am - 5:30pm
* Most schedules are M-Fri

* Mason Square Neighborhood Health Center - Springfield (schedule includes one evening and one Sat morning per month)

* Convenient Care - Palmer (schedule includes evening and weekend)

* QUALIFICATIONS:

*** High School diploma or GED required
* CPR-Basic Life Support of Healthcare Provider required from the American Heart Association required
* MAI - Graduate of an accredited MA program preferred
** OR
* * demonstrated competencies of MA I (evaluated by hiring manager) with minimum 1 year experience in a medical office.
* MAII - Graduate of an accredited MA program
** OR
* * demonstrated competencies of MA II (evaluated by hiring manager for level hiring for) with minimum 3 years’ current relevant medical assistant experience in a medical practice setting.
* MAIII - Graduate of an accredited MA program with a minimum of 5 years’ current relevant medical assistant experience in a medical practice setting preferred
