Sterilization Technician

Contract Duration: 13 weeks + probable extension

Shift: Day/Evening/Night

• 5+ years of Sterile Processing experience required
• Sterile Processing certification required
• Stand-alone Sterile Processing experience required
• Total Joint
• Spine
• Cardiovascular
• Strong documentation experience required
• Experience with load documentation
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Censi Trac experience required

• Perform decontamination, sterilization, inspection, assembly, and preparation of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Process and prepare instrumentation for complex surgical procedures.
• Ensure proper documentation of sterilization loads and processing activities.
• Maintain accurate records in Censi Trac and Cerner
  .
• Support Endoscopy and specialty surgical instrumentation processing.
• Follow established infection prevention, safety, and sterile processing standards.
• Work independently while maintaining accurate and efficient workflow in a Central Sterile environment.
