** Springfield, Massachusetts**. Our Postpartum team provides care to a diverse adult patient population, working closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, compassionate, high-quality care.
** Patient Care Technician

Responsibilities Include:

**
* ** Patient Care & Monitoring:
** Provides safe, age-appropriate care; obtains and documents vital signs, measurements, intake/output, and changes in patient condition; promptly reports concerns to the appropriate clinical team member.
* ** Clinical Procedures & Testing:
** Performs approved treatments and procedures, including dressing changes, specimen collection, EKGs, Point-of-Care testing, and other unit-specific clinical functions in accordance with Baystate Health policies.
* ** Treatment & Provider Support:
** Assists nurses and providers with examinations, treatments, procedures, elimination needs, and other delegated patient care activities; monitors patients and reports unexpected changes.
* ** Communication & Teamwork:
** Communicates respectfully and effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team; recognizes culturally based needs and supports both clinical and non-clinical team activities.
* ** Patient Safety & Emergency Response:
** Maintains patient safety, initiates appropriate emergency procedures, provides one-to-one patient observation when required, and maintains required clinical competencies.

** Day, 7am-7:30pm
