As a Baystate Health BHSOT Pool BRT, you will be hired into either a Facility or System-Wide position. Both opportunities offer variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to work across designated patient care and behavioral health areas based on your experience and assigned clinical grouping.
** Compensation differentials vary by BHSOT assignment and applicable position or clinical grouping.
**** Responsibilities
* * As a Baystate Health BHSOT Pool Behavioral Resource Technician, you will:
The BHSOT pool offers experienced Behavioral Resource Technicians a new way to work within a large health system.
Build experience across multiple behavioral health and patient care environments.
Work with different interdisciplinary teams and patient populations.
Develop and strengthen behavioral health, patient observation, communication, and crisis-support skills.
Receive applicable compensation differentials based on your assignment and eligibility.
** Minimum Qualifications
** Ability to work in all areas included within the assigned clinical grouping.
Relevant clinical or patient care experience- at least 12 months.
Relevant experience may include, but is not limited to:
Paraprofessional experience
Successful completion of a BRT Apprentice role Experience as a psychiatric sitter
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience
Medical Assistant (MA) experience
Home Health Aide (HHA) experience
Patient Care Assistant (PCA) experience
** Compensation & Benefits
** Behavioral Resource Technicians receive applicable compensation differentials based on their
** Facility or System-Wide assignment and applicable shift or clinical grouping**. Additional premium pay programs may apply when eligibility requirements are met.
As a BHSOT BRT, you'll play an essential role in maintaining patient safety, providing compassionate direct care, supporting patients and families, and partnering with nurses and interdisciplinary teams across Baystate Health.
