The JobAs a Banquet Supervisor at MGM Springfield, you will oversee the operations of catering and entertainment events, ensuring exceptional service and a memorable guest experience. The ideal candidate will have at least two (2) years of supervisory experience in a banquet setting, demonstrating the ability to manage event logistics, staff compliance, and guest interactions effectively. Your leadership will be crucial in creating special moments that guests will cherish beyond their time with us.
THESTARTING RATE:
$21.53 per hour
The Day-to-day- Receive function sheets from the Catering office to assess future events and workload.
- Meet with function group leaders to discuss details and last‑minute changes for events.
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional service to clients during events.
- Order necessary materials and account for all food, beverage, labor, and equipment used.
- Complete reports and maintain accurate records of all banquet events.
- Address and resolve employee and guest complaints promptly.
- Inform staff of management policies and ensure compliance.
- Inspect event rooms prior to staff arrival to verify setup and equipment placement.
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Banquet supervisory experience
- Able and willing to work Part‑Time schedule which includes variable shifts, to include nights, weekends and holidays
- Able to lead and mentor a team
- Ability to multi‑task and work well in a fast paced, team‑oriented environment

The Rate For This Role Is
$21.53
This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.
The estimated annual commission this role could reasonably be anticipated to receive is: $0 - $23,900.
Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.
Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
