RESPONSIBILITIESThe Workforce Planning Partner is a strategic HR specialist who designs and executes innovative workforce solutions aligned with Baystate Health’s mission and long‑term strategic goals. You will serve as a trusted consultant to operational leaders and collaborate across Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Compensation, HR Business Partners, and external partners to build sustainable talent pipelines.
Strategic Workforce Planning- Facilitate workforce planning consults with leaders to identify and close talent gaps
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the organizational workforce plan
- Analyze staffing patterns and productivity metrics
- Recommend scheduling or position management adjustments
- Design, coordinate, and recruit for workforce training programs
- Partner with academic institutions and external training providers
- Secure funding, support grant preparation, and assist with program administration
- Champion career mobility as a key retention and engagement strategy
- Serve as a case manager for employees pursuing advancement
- Support employees impacted by layoff or ADA job reassignment
- Partner with recruiters and, when needed, manage full‑cycle recruitment for workforce program roles
- Interpret HR, financial, and productivity indicators
- Collaborate with HRMS and analytics teams
- Support career ladder promotional data preparation
- Develop and maintain career ladders aligned to market standards
- Partner with Compensation on grading, market alignment, and promotional programs
- Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and Compensation Consultants
- Associates degree, required
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in positions that afford transferable skills and may come from other HR or Talent disciplines, healthcare operations, or workforce development
- Demonstrated experience with group facilitation, preferred
- Knowledge of reading and presenting data, preferred
- Intermediate use of Microsoft Office Suite, preferred
- Advanced Workday subject matter knowledge, preferred
- Full‑time – 8:00am‑4:30pm or 8:30am‑5:00pm
