Job DescriptionA Boston biotech is seeking a contract HR Operations Manager to support recruiting operations, Workday recruiting processes, HRIS reporting, and talent acquisition operational workflows. This role will partner closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, HRIS, and business stakeholders to improve recruiting process efficiency, maintain data quality, support reporting needs, and ensure smooth execution of recruiting operations.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Workday Recruiting, HR operations, TA operations, reporting, and process improvement within a growing life sciences, biotech, pharmaceutical, or similarly complex organization.
- Support day-to-day recruiting operations and TA process execution.
- Provide Workday Recruiting and HRIS support, including workflow troubleshooting, process updates, and data integrity.
- Build, maintain, and improve recruiting-related reports, dashboards, and metrics.
- Partner with TA, HR operations, HRIS, and hiring teams to ensure accurate and efficient recruiting workflows.
- Support implementation, optimization, or enhancement of recruiting operations processes.
- Help identify process gaps and recommend improvements to improve efficiency, reporting accuracy, and stakeholder experience.
- Support requisition, candidate, offer, and onboarding-related workflows as needed.
- Maintain accurate data within
Workday and related HR/recruiting systems. - Assist with documentation, SOPs, process maps, and training materials.
- Serve as a point of contact for recruiting operations questions, reporting requests, and HRIS-related support.
- Partner cross-functionally to support scalable TA operations in a growing organization.
- Approximately 5–7 years of experience in HR operations, recruiting operations, TA operations, HRIS, or related people operations roles.
- Hands‑on experience with Workday, ideally
Workday Recruiting. - Experience creating or supporting recruiting reports, dashboards, and HR/TA metrics.
- Strong understanding of recruiting workflows, requisition management, candidate tracking, interview process support, offer workflows, and onboarding handoffs.
- Strong data orientation and attention to detail.
- Ability to troubleshoot system/process issues and partner with HRIS or Workday support teams.
- Experience supporting process improvement or system implementation initiatives.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with HR, TA, hiring managers, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Ability to operate independently in a contract environment and quickly add value.
- Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or high‑growth global organizations.
- Prior experience supporting
Workday Recruiting implementation, optimization, or enhancement projects. - Experience with HR/TA analytics, compliance reporting, data audits, and process documentation.
- Familiarity with recruiting operations in a global or matrixed environment.
- Experience supporting ATS/CRM integrations, offer workflows, onboarding processes, or HRIS data governance
