Overview
A growing Managed Service Provider in Western Massachusetts is looking for a Senior IT Engineer to take ownership of a portfolio of client environments and act as the trusted technical partner for business stakeholders.
You’ll be given real ownership of assigned clients, the autonomy to manage their environments properly, and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with the people who rely on you. You’ll be responsible not just for fixing issues, but for understanding each client’s business, improving their systems, identifying risks, leading projects, and helping decision-makers make confident technology choices. You’ll act as the primary technical owner for assigned client environments, typically ranging from 20–200 endpoints across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid setups.

- Own and manage a portfolio of client environments, acting as the trusted technical partner for business stakeholders.
- Understand each client’s business, identify risks, lead projects, and help decision-makers make confident technology choices.
- Serve as the primary technical owner for assigned client environments (typically 20–200 endpoints) across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid setups.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver proactive IT improvements and effective support for clients.
- 5+ years of IT support experience; strong MSP experience preferred.
- Experience with Windows 11, Windows Server 2016+, and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Experience with Exchange, SharePoint, licensing, and Azure administration.
- Proficiency with Power Shell for Microsoft 365 / Azure administration.
- Experience with Hyper-V and/or VMware virtualization.
- Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, routing, Wi‑Fi, NAT, and IP networking.
